Bio

A Dreamer. A Doer. A Survivor.
Debbie Vinyard is a mom, a wife, an entrepreneur, and a cancer survivor. She is also the passion and creator behind Happy First®, a way of making – and wearing – the most out of life.

In 1995, after surviving a diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Disease, Debbie took her passion for life and her passion for fashion and launched a movement. Happy First® was inspired from her personal philosophy: Celebrate all the firsts. That means from the first milestone in life to the first hour of the day.

Debbie understands the willpower and drive needed to battle insurmountable odds to discover a new self. Her clothing and jewelry line inspires women to pursue their passion and discover their capacity for happiness.

It is there. Waiting for every woman.

Happy First® asks the question, “What is happiness to you?” and then motivates women to do the action, make the adjustment, and find the attitude to wear happiness on their sleeve.

Like her symbol, the egg, Debbie knows life is fragile yet full of possibilities. She believes everyone has creativity inside just waiting to burst from the shell.

This is her life philosophy. And she puts it into action by donating a portion of the profits to leukemia and lymphoma research.
